Alsta Watches are known for producing the dive watch worn by Richard Dreyfuss in the 1975 movie ‘Jaws’ and for a range of affordable dive watches. In today’s episode of the Watch Chronicler Podcast, I talk about Jaws, Movements and much more with Angus from Alsta Watches.
A few months ago, in a cigar lounge in central London, I had spent a few hours chatting with Angus Macfadyen from the Alsta Watch Company. Originally founded over 70 years ago and recently resurrected after three decades of dormancy, Alsta is a brand which today specialises in producing a high-quality product with enjoyment at the core.
In recent years, Alsta watches have become particularly known for producing the Nautoscaph Superautomatic worn by Richard Dreyfuss in the 1975 movie ‘Jaws’. Aside from this creation, their Surf ‘N Ski has introduced another side to the brand as a product to accompany its wearer to Kitzbühel as well as Cannes.
In today’s podcast, I talk about Jaws, movements, and much more.
