When many think of watchmaking, it’s the brands of the last 200 years which spring to mind. They can vary in speciality from Rolex and Omega to Patek Philippe and Jaeger-LeCoultre yet these remain fundamentally historical brands.
What I would like to discuss in this video is the work of modern 21st century companies which strive to do something new whilst offering the utmost quality. Their geneses varied wildly from religious clocks to reinvigorating Genevan culture or exploring the world of extreme sports, but all have defined their aims and produced something very new in the past 20 years.
Please do leave your comments down below and give me your thoughts about any other brands which spring to mind.
